AUDITOR SUSAN MONTEE REPORTS $500,000 IN THIRD QUARTER

Buchanan Auditor Susan Montee released her first campaign report and made good on her promise to start her campaign funding with $500,000 of her own monies. Montee filed her report with the Missouri Ethics Commission on October 3rd.
Auditor Montee promised to reach out to all areas of the state in her campaign and stated that future financial disclosures will reflect her ability to convince voters her background and experience as a CPA, accountant, auditor and attorney make her best qualified to be the next Missouri State Auditor.
“My commitment to this race, both financial and personal, is in gratitude to the great opportunities I have been provided. As the daughter of a career US Marine, missing in action in Vietnam, I grew up with a keen understanding of the importance and need to participate in public service. I feel it is time for me to use my accounting and legal training in the office of State Auditor to serve the public and the taxpayers of Missouri,” stated Auditor Montee.
