The Montee for Auditor campaign committee filed a quarterly financial disclosure report with the Missouri Ethics Commission for the 4th quarter 2005 period.

“I am happy to announce the Committee raised over $64,000 for the quarter and has ended 2005 with over $554,000 cash on hand,” said Buchanan County Auditor Susan Montee.

“I believe the success over the last quarter reflects the agreement by many that my qualifications as a CPA and attorney with public audit experience make me the best candidate to be the Missouri State Auditor.”

“We anticipate that our successful campaign for Missouri State Auditor may cost in excess of two million dollars. We have set our fundraising goals accordingly. Although the fourth quarter is a down time for the Missouri Legislature, it is the busiest time of year for County officials, especially the Auditor. I am pleased that our fund-raising is on target and the public encouragement to my campaign for this office has been exceptional.”
